Founder and CEO

Darrell Cooper is the founder and CEO of E3 Strategic Solutions.  He is a veteran of numerous leadership positions and experiences. His expertise includes the areas of leadership development, strategic planning, funding, and public relations.

Darrell has 34 years of successful experience in leadership, including experiences in public schools and several nonprofit organizations. He served 33 years as a public educator, with 21 as a school leader in the positions of assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. In addition, he has served on numerous boards, committees, funding drives, and other efforts for both nonprofit and community organizations. A few examples include serving as an executive board member and/or chairperson for United Way, American Red Cross, Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development, and numerous funding drives.

He has led several strategic planning efforts for school systems, nonprofits, and small groups. He also has several experiences in planning major capital campaigns, along with the design and leadership of related funding campaigns.

Darrell has various experiences working with graduate programs in Educational Leadership at The University of Alabama, Auburn University, and The University of Alabama-Birmingham. Examples include mentoring, serving as guest lecturer, dissertation committee member, and  assisting with redesign efforts of a graduate program. He has also served frequently as a guest speaker on leadership, funding, and various educational topics at the local, state, and national levels.

Dr. Cooper earned a B.S. in Education from Auburn University. He holds a M.S. both in History and Educational Leadership from The University of Alabama. In addition, he earned an Ed.S. and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from The University of Alabama.
